European Cups: Dinamo Minsk is the best team after the play-off round

According to the ECRS, after the play-off round of the European Cups the best team is Dinamo Minsk (Belarus). In the Europa League, they have eliminated MYPA (Finland), CFR Cluj (Romania) and Nacional (Portugal). The team's total score is now 223,51.
The second team is Astana (Kazakhstan), with 204,07 points.
The third team is Legia Warsaw (Poland), with 198,73 points.

The best team still in the Champions League is Maribor (Slovenia), that is in the 12th overall position with a total score of 141,30.

The worst team still in the competition is Napoli (Italy), that played (losing) only the play-off round of the Champions League, but will participate in the Europa League's Group Stage. They are in the 157th position, with 2,37 points.

Manchester United lost unbelievably yesterday 0-4 against Milton Keynes (third English division), in the second round of the Capital One Cup.
The Red Devils started this season with some poor results: 1 point in 2 matches in the Premier League (losing at home against Swansea), and now this shocking defeat.

Yesterday, Atlético Madrid won its 2nd Supercopa de España (out of 6 finals), defeating 1-0 Real Madrid in the second leg of the final. The decisive goal was scored by Mario Mandžukić in the 2nd minute of the match.
The 1st leg ended 1-1.

For Real Madrid, this was the 14th final (9 wins).

Ieri l'Atletico Madrid ha vinto la sua seconda Supercoppa di Spagna (su 6 finali giocate), battendo 1-0 il Real Madrid nella partita di ritorno della finale. Il gol decisivo è stato segnato da Mario Mandžukić al 2° minuto di gioco.
L'andata era terminata 1-1.

Per il Real Madrid si trattava della 14esima finale (9 vittorie).

Last weekend the new season of English Premier League has started, with a big surprise: Van Gaal's Manchester United lost 1-2 at home against Swansea City.
Manchester City and Chelsea won respectively against Newcastle United and Burnley.
The London's club is the only teams that managed to score 3 goals on this first matchday.

Manchester United has decided to prohibit laptops and tablets at Old Trafford, during matchdays. The official reason is to guarantee the safety of the supporters.
Mobiles and cameras can still be introduced, provided that they don't exceed the dimensions of 150x100 mm.

San Lorenzo de Almagro, from Argentina, won the 2014 Copa Libertadores (South America's Champions League), defeating 1-0 Nacional de Asuncion (Paraguay) thanks to a penalty of Ortigoza. The first leg ended in a tie 1-1.
It's the first time that this club from Buenos Aires wins the most important football Cup of South America.

Il San Lorenzo de Almagro ha vinto la Coppa Libertadores 2014 (l'equivalente della Champions League per il Sud America), battendo per 1-0 i paraguaiani del Nacional de Asuncion, grazie a un calcio di rigore di Ortigoza. L'andata era terminata 1-1.

Si tratta della prima volta che questa squadra di Buenos Aires vince la più importante coppa del Sud America.

4-4 after regular time, 6-6 after extra-time, 4-2 after penalty shootout: this is the outcome of the match between Dagenham & Redbridge and Brentford, in the first round of the Capital One Cup.
Brentford led 2-0, 3-1, 4-3 and 5-4, while Dagenham & Redbridge managed to take the lead on 6-5, before Bredford equalised again in the 117th minute.
At the end, Brentford won 4-2 after penalties.

Dallas (for Brentford) and Hemmings (for Dagenham & Redbridge) scored 2 goals each.

Brentford play in Football League Championship (the 2nd division), while Dagenham & Redbridge play in Football League Two (the 4th division).

The goals were scored by Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang (in the photo, celebrating his goal with a Spider-Man mask).

For the black-yellow team, this is the 5th Super Cup.

Il Borussia Dortmund ha vinto la Supercoppa di Germania, battendo il Bayern Monaco 2-0.
Le reti sono state segnate da Mkhitaryan e Aubameyang (nella foto, con una maschera dell'Uomo Ragno durante i festeggiamenti dopo il goal).

Yesterday, Real Madrid won the UEFA Super Cup defeating Sevilla 2-0.
Both goals were scored by Cristiano Ronaldo, on minutes 30th and 49th.

It is the second UEFA Super Cup for Real Madrid, after the one won in 2002 against Feyenoord.
For Sevilla, it was the third final (they won the Cup in 2006 against Barcelona).

Ieri sera il Real Madrid ha vinto la Supercoppa Europea sconfiggendo il Siviglia per 2-0.
Doppietta di Cristiano Ronaldo, ai minuti 30 e 49.

Si tratta della seconda Supercoppa Europea per il Real Madrid, dopo quella vinta nel 2002 contro il Feyenoord.
Per il Siviglia era la terza finale (vinse la coppa nel 2006 contro il Barcellona).

Ligue 1 - First match day

The new season of Ligue 1 began during last weekend.

The teams favourite for the league victory didn't start very well: Paris Saint-Germain (the defending champions) drew 2-2 against Reims, while Monaco (last season's runner up) lost 1-2 against Lorient.

The French Ligue 1 began yesterday with the first match between Paris Saint-Germain and Reims. The outcome was 2-2.
After the double scored against Guingamp in the French Supercup, yesterday Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored other 2 goals, that were not enough to gain the victory.

La Ligue 1 francese è iniziata ufficialmente ieri, con un pareggio per 2-2 tra Paris Saint-Germain e Reims.
Dopo la doppietta contro il Guingamp nella Supercoppa di Francia, ieri Zlatan Ibrahoimovic ha segnato altri due gol, che non sono stati comunque sufficienti per ottenere la vittoria.
