The country with the most transfers among the top 100 was England, with 23 outbound and 46 inbound. 17 of these were made between English teams.
Among the top 5 transfers of all time, 3 were made during this window: Luis Suárez (from Liverpool to Barcelona, 81 million €), James Rodríguez (from Monaco to Real Madrid, 80 million €) and Ángel di María (from Real Madrid to Manchester United, 75 million €).
These three are surpassed by Gareth Bale (from Tottenham to Real Madrid, 94 million € last year) and Cristiano Ronaldo (from Manchester United to Real Madrid, 94 million € in 2009-2010 season).
