2015 European clubs stats - Generic stats







In this and the next few posts I will write the stats of the year 2015, regarding the clubs in the 6 main European leagues (first divisions of England, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain).
I counted only the teams who played the whole year in the top division, i.e. I excluded the teams who were promoted at the end of the 2014/2015 season.

I start with some generic stats.

Best: Porto (Portugal) 2,56
Worst: Aston Villa (England) 0,66

Average points at half time
Best: Porto (Portugal) 2,32
Worst: Hannover 96 (Germany) 0,76

Average points made in the second half
Best: Barcelona (Spain) 2,17
Worst: Newcastle United (England) 0,50

Average goals scored

Highest: Barcelona (Spain) 2,87
Lowest: Nantes (Frances) 0,63

Average goals conceded
Highest: Stuttgart (Germany) 1,91
Lowest: Porto (Portugal) 0,38

Average goals scored in the first half
Best: Real Madrid (Spain) 1,35
Worst: Málaga (Spain) 0,23

Average goals scored in the second half
Best: Barcelona (Spain) 1,82
Worst: Eibar (Spain) 0,36

Average goals conceded in the first half
Best: Porto (Portugal) 0,12
Worst: Getafe (Spain) 0,95

Average goals conceded in the second half
Best: Porto (Portugal) 0,26
Worst: Académica (Portugal) 1,12

Average total amount of goals (scored + conceded)
Highest: Barcelona (Spain) 3,63
Lowest: Nantes (France) 1,68

Percentage of matches with both teams scoring
Highest: Hannover 96 (Germany) 67,65%
Lowest: Benfica and Sporting Braga (Portugal) 29,41%

Percentage of matches with no goal scored by the team
Best: Barcelona (Spain) and Paris Saint-Germain (France) 5,26%
Worst: Nantes (France) and Boavista (Portugal) 50%

Percentage of matches with no goal conceded by the team
Best: Porto (Portugal) 64,71%
Worst: Hannover 96 (Germany) 8,82%







In questo e nei prossimi articoli scriverò le statistiche dell'anno 2015, relative alle squadre di club dei 6 principali campionati europei (le prime divisioni di Inghilterra, Francia, Germania, Italia, Portogallo e Spagna).
Ho preso in considerazione solo le squadre che hanno giocato l'intero anno solare nel campionato di prima divisione, quindi ho escluso le squadre promosse alla fine della stagione 2014/2015.
